The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission works with cities who are experiencing issues with wildlife damage from deer to create special hunting seasons specifically geared toward reducing herd numbers in and around those cities. The Arkansas Bowhunters Association and Bull Shoals Bowhunters Association work with the AGFC to manage these hunting opportunities and ensure safe, ethical hunts with special consideration for the thoughts and ideals of non-hunting Arkansans.
